    Softened water equipment is widely used in the softening of make-up water in systems such as steam boilers, hot water boilers, exchangers, evaporative condensers, air conditioners, and direct-fired engines. The specific installation height steps are as follows:

    Method / step

    1. General requirements for installation ① The water inlet pressure should be 0.2-0.5MPa. When the water source pressure cannot meet the requirements, a booster pump can be installed to increase the water inlet pressure. If the pressure is too high, a pressure reducing valve should be installed to control the inlet water pressure.
    ② The inlet water temperature should be between 5-45 ℃, and the power supply should be AC 200V / 50Hz.
    ③ The water softener should be installed on a solid platform, there should be unobstructed launching water nearby, and sufficient operating and maintenance space should be reserved.
    ④ The working environment temperature should be between 5-50 ℃ and the relative humidity ≤95% (at 5 ℃).

    2. Control valve installation and resin filling (top-loading form)
    Step 1: First install the lower water distributor firmly at the bottom end of the central tube, then insert it into the center of the resin tank, cut off and guide the angle at the upper end of the central tube 0.5mm below the tank opening, and then seal the central tube opening with tape To prevent resin from leaking in.
    Step 2: Put the quartz sand into the resin tank along the gap around the central tube, and make it flat on the bottom of the tank. The quartz sand is 20mm higher than the lower water distributor. The quartz sand should be layered according to the particle size. To water distribution (for resin tanks with a diameter of less than 500mm, quartz sand is generally not installed).
    Step 3: Fill the resin evenly into the resin tank. After filling the resin to the required layer height, inject a 10% salt solution into the resin until the resin is immersed to fully expand the resin.
    After the resin is filled, the sealing tape of the central tube should be removed. In the above operation, care should be taken to keep the central tube always at the center of the resin tank mouth.
    Step 4: Install the upper water distributor on the control valve, then insert the central pipe from the upper water distributor into the control valve, and carefully turn the control valve clockwise until it is screwed on the resin tank connection ( Or fixed by flange connection).
    Pay attention to the upper water distributor and the control valve and the central pipe, and the lower water distributor and the central pipe must be tight to prevent the resin from running out. The central tube and the control valve must be tight and leak-proof, otherwise the phenomenon of channeling hard water will occur.

    3. Pipe connection requirements for softened water equipment
    ① The pipes connected to the water softener shall be water-supply plastic pipes, and the drainage pipes shall not be soft plastic pipes to prevent deformation of the pipes and affect the drainage effect.
    ② Connect the water inlet and outlet pipes according to the arrow marks of the water inlet and outlet of the control valve. Use a flow-type regeneration controller. The flow meter must be installed at the water outlet.
    ③ The inlet and outlet pipes should be equipped with a pressure gauge and manual valve, and a bypass valve should also be installed. A sampling valve should be installed before the outlet pipe valve. A Y-type filter is usually installed after the inlet pipe valve to prevent the dirt in the pipeline from blocking the valve body and causing the equipment to malfunction.
    ④ The connection length of the drainage pipe should not exceed 6m. Minimize the bend, and it is strictly prohibited to install the valve.
    ⑤ The connection length of the brine pipeline should not exceed 2m, and it must maintain good tightness, otherwise it will affect the regeneration effect of the water softener.

    4. Water softening equipment
    After the resin is soaked in a 10% common salt solution for 18-20 hours, it can be fully swelled before the equipment is allowed to pass water.
    Step 1: First close the inlet and outlet water valves, open the bypass valve, flush the impurities in the pipeline, and then close the bypass valve.
    Step 2: Confirm that the electrical parameters of the water softener are consistent with the power supply (Note: The input voltage of the SE regeneration controller is AC 12V / 50Hz, so a transformer with input AC 220V / 50Hz and output AC 12V / 50Hz should be selected), and then the power is turned on . Manually start the regeneration controller, adjust the control valve to the backwash state, and slowly open the water inlet valve to the 1/4 opening. At this time, you can hear the sound of air discharged from the drain pipe. After the air is cleaned, open the inlet. Water valve, flush some impurities in the resin until the drain pipe clear water.
    Step 3: Adjust the control valve to the forward washing position until the water is qualified.
    Step 4: Adjust the control valve to the water injection position of the salt tank, inject the design water into the salt tank, and then add solid particulate salt to run and debug.
