    The apple juice is processed and produced, and its wastewater mainly comes from processes such as washing, crushing, and juice extraction. The water volume is about 1000 m3 / d. Based on the principles of province investment, reliable technology and stable operation, the biochemical treatment process with hydrolysis and acidification and ten-contact oxidation as the main body is determined. The project was completed in 2001 and successfully commissioned in 2002. For more than a year of operation, the quality of the effluent water is stable and the management is simple, which has fundamentally solved the pollution of the production wastewater to the environment.
    Raw water quality, water quality and treated water quality 1. Raw water quantity According to the information provided by the company, the design water quantity for this project is 1000m3 / d.
    2. Raw water quality The company's wastewater mainly comes from washing, crushing, and juice extraction processes, and the wastewater has high biochemical properties. According to the requirements of the environmental protection department, the quality of the treated water meets the secondary standard in the Integrated Wastewater Discharge Standard (GB8978-96).     Wastewater treatment process flow 1. Process flow This project uses the hydrolysis and acidification + contact oxidation as the main biochemical treatment process. The flow is shown in Figure 1 [1]:

    2. Process description ① Grid: Sewage contains a large amount of floating and suspended matter. In order to reduce the load of subsequent processing units, two thick and thin grids are designed to ensure the normal operation of subsequent processing structures.
    ② Pre-aeration adjustment tank: Because the quality and quantity of sewage discharged in the production workshop varies greatly, it is necessary to set an adjustment tank to adjust the water quality and quantity. Add NaOH to the pool to adjust the pH. This project adopts a pre-aeration regulating tank, which can prevent the fine fermentation of fruit chips and also has a certain removal rate of organic matter.
    ③Lift pump: The water level in the pre-aeration tank is relatively low, and the change is large. Therefore, a sewage lift pump is installed in the tank to allow sewage to flow to the subsequent structures for treatment. The lift pump uses WQ submersible sewage pumps.
    ④ Primary sedimentation tank: Advection sedimentation tank is used to further precipitate fine fruit genus and suspended matter to ensure the normal operation of subsequent processing structures.
    ⑤ Hydrolytic acidification tank [2]: Facultative bacteria are used to convert macromolecular organic compounds into aerobic biodegradable small molecular organic compounds, reduce CODcr concentration, and reduce subsequent aerobic treatment load. The pool is provided with elastic packing, which is suspended in sections. After normal operation, the CODcr removal rate is 45%, and the operation is quite stable. Intermittent aeration is used during operation, with an interval of 8 hours, and each aeration time is 5-10 minutes. Before entering the contact oxidation tank, the hydrolyzed acidified effluent is fed with NaOH solution by using an automatic dosing pump, and the pH value is adjusted to 6-8.
    ⑥ Contact oxidation tank [3]: This process uses two-stage contact oxidation, with elastic packing installed in the tank, the first-stage contact oxidation tank uses a diffuser aerator, and the second-stage contact oxidation tank uses a microporous aerator.
    ⑦Second settling tank [4]: Adopting advection sedimentation tank, the sedimentation separation contacts the biofilm falling off from the oxidation tank effluent, which reduces the dosage of subsequent air flotation tank and reduces the operating cost.

    Debugging operation and processing effect
    1. Commissioning operation In order to shorten the commissioning time, 200m3 of aerobic activated sludge was introduced from the urban sewage treatment plant, of which 100m3 was put into the hydrolytic acidification tank, and the rest was put into contact with the oxidation tank. During the commissioning, water was intermittently injected, and the amount of water was gradually increased. From 1/4 to all the water, the supernatant was discharged daily from the tank. During commissioning, strictly control the pH value and nutrient salts. The pH value when entering the hydrolysis and acidification tank is controlled at about 7-8. The pH value when entering the contact oxidation tank is controlled at 6-8. To make up for the deficiency of nitrogen and phosphorus in fruit juice, the dosage is calculated according to m (COD): m (N): m (P) = 200: 5: 1. Since the commissioning time of the project is in summer, it is greatly shortened compared with the commissioning time in winter. After 15 days of inoculation, the contact with the oxidized pool is obvious. After 1 month, the acidified pool is successfully hanged. After another 20 days of commissioning, the sewage treatment system entered normal operation and the treatment effect was stable. The debugging period is 50 d.
    Commissioning and running experience: In the early stage of commissioning, because the biofilm was not fully grown, the hydrolytic acidification and contact with the oxidation pond could not reach the corresponding design load, and the raw water concentration was very high. Therefore, the use of sludge reflux plays a role of dilution and is conducive to hanging the film. In addition, during the commissioning and operation phases, we strengthened the slag removal of the grille. The characteristic of fruit juice processing wastewater is that the wastewater contains a large amount of crushed fruit crumbs, pulp, pectin and other substances, which have a very adverse effect on the subsequent treatment of the structure. In response to this situation, we added a grille at the wastewater outlet of the production workshop and asked the manufacturers to improve the production process, thereby reducing the SS of the raw water.
    2. Treatment effect of each structure Table 3 is the average result based on long-term observation.

    3. Final treatment effect This design adopts hydrolytic-aerobic biological treatment process, which overcomes the problems of strict equipment sealing and complicated operation management when using anaerobic treatment process to treat high-concentration organic wastewater. The quality of its effluent water is shown in Table 4 and reached the prescribed discharge standard. The operation of the system for more than a year has shown that the process produces less mud and the mud cake does not contain toxic substances and can be directly used as fertilizer.
    Conclusion ① For the high-concentration organic wastewater produced by apple juice processing, the hydrolytic acidification + contact oxidation treatment process can not only effectively remove the organic matter and suspended matter in the wastewater, but also has reliable operation, convenient management and good treatment effect.
    ② The hydrolysis and acidification process has low energy consumption, strong impact load resistance and stable operation.
    ③ After the implementation of this project, the environment is protected, the worries of the enterprise are resolved, and it has significant social and environmental benefits.
